About Urelle

What is Urelle?

Urelle is a combination of five drugs: hyoscyamine (an antispasmodic), methenamine and methylene blue (antiseptics to fight bacteria), phenyl salicylate (a pain reliever), and sodium biphosphate (a phosphorous supplement). It comes in tablet form and is prescribed to treat bladder irritation arising from urinary tract infections. It may also be administered during certain medical procedures to prevent bladder discomfort.

How do I take Urelle?

Urelle is administered as a tablet that is taken orally with liquids and without regard to food. The amount taken and frequency of dosing will be determined by your physician. Follow the instructions that accompany the prescription and do not take more or less than the prescribed amount. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Urelle. Continue to take this medication until you finish the prescribed course of treatment, even if you feel well before then.

What if I forget to take a dose of Urelle?

If you forget to take your scheduled dose of the Urelle drug, do so as soon as you remember and are able. However, if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, skip it and take the next dose at its scheduled time. Do not increase the amount taken or change the regimen to make up for one that was missed.
