How do I use Cholestyramine Light?

Cholestyramine Light is available as a chewable bar, and also as a powder. The powder form of this drug should be mixed with fluids (such as water or juice) or food (such as soup) and be taken orally. Do not take the dry powder alone. Cholestyramine Light is typically prescribed to be taken 2 to 4 times per day before meals and/or at bed. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully for using this medication.
