How do I use PruMyx?

Apply PruMyx cream to the affected skin area as needed or as directed by your doctor. If the affected skin area is broken, cover the area with a dressing after applying PruMyx cream.

Avoid applying this cream to sensitive areas such as eyes, inside the nose and mouth, and the vaginal or groin area, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.

What if I forget to use a dose of Prumyx?

PruMyx cream should be used as needed. Use this medication exactly as directed by your doctor. If you miss a dose, apply PruMyx cream as soon as you remember the missed dose, then continue to use the cream as scheduled by your doctor.

What happens if I overdose on Prumyx?

In case of overdose, call Poison Control (1-800-222-1222) to find out what to do, or seek immediate medical attention.

• you are allergic to PruMyx or any other medications

• you are taking any prescription or over-the-counter medications, vitamins, or supplements

• you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding

• you have any skin cuts, sores, or skin infections

• This cream is for external use only.

• This cream does not contain sunscreen and it should not be used prior to extended sun exposure.

• Contact your doctor if your condition does not improve within 10 to 14 days of using this medication.

• burning or stinging skin

• signs of skin infection

• unusual changes in the skin

• severe allergic reaction (including itching, rash, swelling, difficulty breathing, severe dizziness)

How do I store Prumyx?

Store this medication tightly closed when not in use. Store it at room temperature and keep away from excess moisture and heat. Do not freeze this medication. Keep this medication out of reach of children and away from pets. Properly dispose of any expired or unnecessary medication.

Warnings

• If you are undergoing radiation treatment, do not apply PruMyx cream up to 4 hours prior to treatment, as this drug may dissolve fuchsin dye.

• Do not let anyone else use your medication.
