Warnings

  • Taking estrogen increases the risk that you will develop endometrial cancer. This risk increases the longer you take estrogen. If you have not had a hysterectomy, you should be given a progestin (a hormone) to take with estrogen injection. Taking progestin may decrease your risk of developing endometrial cancer, but it may also increase your risk of developing breast cancer and certain other health problems. Discuss the risks of using estrogen with your doctor.

  • Do not let anyone else use your medication.

Is Delestrogen a Brand or Generic drug?

Delestrogen is a brand drug, and the Delestrogen generic is estradiol valerate. Other similar brand name drugs include DEPO-Estradiol and Premarin I.V. These drugs are not all the same, so consult with your doctor to determine which treatment is best for you. If your doctor prescribes one of these drugs and you will be paying cash, remember to get your free FamilyWize coupon for Delestrogen or a Delestrogen alternative drug to save up to 75% off of your Delestrogen cost or the cost of an alternative drug.
