About Qbrelis

Qbrelis is a medicine that inhibits the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE). ACE inhibitors help to relieve hypertension and prevent heart failure primarily from suppression of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. Inhibition of ACE leads to decreased vasopressor activity, which allows healthier blood flow and restores the function of the cardiovascular system.

Take Qbrelis with or without food. Make sure you drink plenty of water while on a schedule with this medicine. Qbrelis may cause you to become more prone to dehydration. Your doctor may also need to check your blood pressure often while you are on this medication.

Take the dose that you forgot as soon as you remember to take it. Skip the dose you missed if it is already near time to take your next scheduled dose. Never take extra medicine to make up for any doses you may have missed.

You may begin to notice signs of high potassium, kidney failure, or liver failure. If you suspect you may have overdosed, get to an emergency room as quickly as possible or call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.

Before taking Qbrelis, tell your doctor if:

· You are pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant

· You are allergic to any foods, medicines, or other substances

· You have kidney disease or are on dialysis

· You have liver disease

· You have diabetes

· You have high levels of potassium in your blood

Qbrelis alters the chemicals in your body and may come with some common side effects, including headache, dizziness, cough, or chest pain. Alert a medical professional immediately if you begin to notice lightheadedness, little or no urination, signs of high potassium, kidney problems, or liver problems, which may include symptoms such as nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, fatigue, dark urine, clay-colored stools, or jaundice.

Store Qbrelis in an area of your home that stays room temperature. Keep this medicine and its container away from heat and moisture.

Get help from a medical professional if you notice persistent vomiting, diarrhea, or sweating. This medicine may cause dehydration that can lead to very low blood pressure, electrolyte disorders, or kidney failure. Continue to take this medication even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often causes no symptoms. It is possible that you will need to continue to take this medication for the rest of your life.

“I have been able to afford and purchase my prescribed medications for prices much better than using my insurance. I am trying to understand how that is possible. Anyway, I highly recommend”
