How do I use Concept DHA?

Concept DHA comes in capsule form and in extended-release capsule form to be taken orally. It is typically prescribed to be taken once per day.

This medication is best taken on an empty stomach and with a full glass of water unless your doctor instructs you otherwise.

Do not take antacids, dairy products, tea, or coffee within 2 hours of taking Concept DHA because these items may decrease its effectiveness.

If you are taking the extended-release Concept DHA capsule, swallow it whole. Crushing or chewing extended-release medication can release all of the drug at once, increasing the risk of side effects and decreasing absorption of the drug in your body.

What if I forget to use a dose of Concept DHA?

Take your missed dose of Concept DHA as soon as your remember to take it. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue to take the medication as prescribed. Do not take a double dose of Concept DHA.
