About Citranatal Dha

CitraNatal DHA is a prenatal tablet containing vitamins and minerals, such as calcium, vitamin C, and iron, that improve the nutritional status of a woman before conception, during pregnancy, and after giving birth. Each CitraNatal DHA dose also comes with a soft gel capsule containing docosahexaenoic acid, an essential fatty acid.

Take one CitraNatal DHA tablet and one soft gel capsule by mouth per day, unless your doctor gives you different instructions.

Take the missed dose once you remember, unless it’s almost time for your next dose. Do not take two doses on the same day.

If you believe that you or someone in your home has overdosed on CitraNatal DHA, call your local poison control center (1-800-222-1222) to find out what to do.

Before taking CitraNatal DHA, tell your doctor if:

· You are allergic to any of the ingredients in this multivitamin

· You have any other known allergies

· You are taking any other prescription or non-prescription supplements, vitamins, or drugs

· You have any medical conditions

· You have a bleeding disorder

Serious side effects of CitraNatal DHA are rare. However, you should get emergency medical help right away if you experience any signs of a severe allergic reaction. Signs may include rash, itching, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the tongue, lips, and face.

Store CitraNatal DHA at room temperature (between 68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit). Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit is acceptable. However, you should minimize exposure to temperature extremes and keep the tablets from getting moist. Store your CitraNatal DHA kit out of reach of any children or pets in your home.

Warnings

Don’t take more than 3 grams of omega-3 fatty acids per day. If you believe you have anemia, talk to your doctor before you start taking CitraNatal DHA. The folic acid in this multivitamin may obscure anemia in blood tests.

Brand Names

As a multivitamin with a proprietary formula, CitraNatal DHA is only available as a brand name drug. There are several other prenatal vitamins in the CitraNatal family, including CitraNatal Harmony, CitraNatal Assure, and CitraNatal 90 DHA. Talk to your doctor to determine which multivitamin is best for you and your pregnancy. If your doctor prescribes any prenatal supplements that aren’t covered by your insurance, check FamilyWize for available coupons.

“I have been able to afford and purchase my prescribed medications for prices much better than using my insurance. I am trying to understand how that is possible. Anyway, I highly recommend”
