How do I take Calcitrene?

Calcitrene is administered as a topical ointment that is applied once or twice a day depending on the condition being treated and the medical profile of the patient. Thoroughly wash and dry your hands before and after using this medication, unless this is the area being treated. To apply, squeeze a small amount onto the affected skin and gently massage it in.
