Health Care Low Cost or Free Clinics and Services
Local Community Health Centers
Non-profit, community directed health care providers serving low-income and medically underserved communities. Fees are on a sliding scale based on your income.
Free and Faith-Based Clinics
Offer services for community members in need.
County Health Department Clinics
Some counties (not all) may provide immunization clinics, well-baby visits, pre-natal care, mental health, health screenings, dental, and more.
Grocery/Food Food Assistance for Your Family
Food Banks
Food Banks provide nutritious, fresh foods to Americans struggling with hunger; safe and nurturing places for children to have a meal; emergency assistance for disaster victims; as well as a chance at self-sufficiency for adults trying to break the cycle of poverty and hunger.
Food Pantries
Food Pantries are faith-based organizations that also supply free food.
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programs (SNAP)
Formerly known as Federal Food Stamps - receive an electronic card to use at local authorized grocery stores and markets.
Shelter Utilities and Weatherization
HUD.com
Assistance for People with Low Incomes for utilities and to make housing more energy efficient. Programs available from the Federal, State and Local government as well as utility companies and emergency charitable programs.

A free and confidential service supported by United Way that helps people find the local resources they need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A toll-free call to 2-1-1 connects you to a community resource specialist in your area who can put you in touch with local organizations that provide critical services that can improve—and save—lives.

An independent nonprofit dedicated to bringing transparency to healthcare costs and health insurance information. It offers a free consumer website that enables uninsured and insured consumers to estimate their medical and dental costs and learn about health insurance basics.
