How do I take Vesicare?

• You have kidney or liver disease.

• You are frequently constipated or have stomach problems, including ulcers.

• You are taking prescription or nonprescription drugs, vitamins, or supplements, especially antifungals, antibiotics, St. John’s wort, antidepressants, HIV medications, medications for irregular heartbeat, some asthma medications, and others.

• You are allergic to corn products or any of the ingredients in Vesicare.

What are the possible side effects of taking Vesicare?

Side effects from taking Vesicare include dry mouth, dry eyes, constipation, decreased sweating, indigestion, blurred vision, dizziness, and fatigue. Serious side effects include extreme thirst, abnormally warm skin or elevated body temperature, severe stomach pain, painful urination, unusually infrequent urination, and constipation that lasts longer than 3 days. If you experience any serious side effects, report them to your doctor at once.

How do I store Vesicare?

Store Vesicare in an airtight container or in its original packaging. Keep this medication at a room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Warnings

Vesicare can cause the body to have a lessened ability to control overheating. Drink lots of water and try to avoid overexertion. Drinking grapefruit juice may interfere with this medication.
